Customer Review: Heartbreaking...new card..wedding..FAILURE!

Purchased this card against my better judgement. (Had been using PNY class 10 8GB card) Was assured that for what I was going to use it for that the class 6 would be fine. Wanted a brand new card to use for a wedding. Failed after 185 images and after many attempts it has been determined that the data could not be recovered. Before ceremony and ceremony itself gone! Had just upgraded to a Canon 60D specifically for this wedding (was my first paid job) which uses SD...have been using CF for the past 3 years. Just sick!!!!
Description of Problem:
SD Card is not acknowledging commands sent through the SD interface. As the SD card uses an integrated all-in-one design (ie: no separate PCB/Controller/NAND components) and has no alternative interface (eg: NAND test contacts) we are unable directly access the integrated NAND memory chip storing your data. This type of failure is usually due to bit errors within the NAND memory chip that cause corruption of the firmware or data structures used by the controller to locate data on the NAND memory chip.
How do you tell a bride that she has no photos of her wedding? Should have just used my trusty Rebel...would have saved me (and her) heartbreak and $2000
