I have had nothing but trouble with this camera since my husband bought it for me.
First of all, batteries die extraordinarily quickly in this camera (all types,all brands). I sent it back to Fuji shortly after getting it. Came back exactly the same without any explanation.
Now, it has suddenly become incompatible with my Windows XP PC. We searched and found the required drivers. They ARE on our PC. We followed the full page of small print instructions Fuji provides for our situation to the letter. Our son, an IT professional then spent 2 hours trying to get it to work. Still won't upload pics. Can't tell if it is the cable or cable socket or the Finepix software.
Thought of buying an xD card reader, but if you look at the reviews of Fuji's reader here, you will see that some people find it also won't work with XP.
